New Video and other Shiznit!!!!1

The new video features Gatzke sending Cool Cuts Direct and a sweet montage of Hayden putting in some work on Daddy Fat Sacks. Apparently Hayden has broken two holds on Daddy Fat Sacks over the last couple weeks, I've said it once and I will say it again,"STOP CHIPPIN' UP THE PROBLEMS FOOL," but seriously check out Hayden's blog for a nice update of his frist day in Font. In other news I will be getting another MRI within the next few weeks to see if I jacked my shit up even more, the Docter seems to think that all the recent complications I am having is due to massive scare tissue build up and I certainly hope that's the case. Halla!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday!!!!!!!!

Yesterday Hayden and I went up to the Pass and meet up with Gatzke for some fun in the sun! Gatzke had a pretty good day making short work of many of the classics on the Ships Prow area including a fast ascent of Cool Cuts Direct Assis. Hayden had a good day to (considering the condition of his tips and the sharpness of the holds)and came agonizingly close to snagging the second ascent of the coveted Daddy Fat Sacks. We head back up tomorrow for Hayden's last efforts before his lucky ass if off fro a trip across the pond! As always a video is in the works but due to a crazy schedule this week I can't make any promises as to when it will be up fro your viewing pleasure! That's it for now, HALLA!!!!!!!!

4 fools in a choss cave!

DO THE MATH FOOL! Sunday Hayden,Ander and I went up to the Berthoud Cave and meet up with the ever elusive JJ to enjoy some pleasent, even warm and of course always chossy conditions at Crumble Wood. It turned out to be worth the drive 1:40 minutes there 40 minutes back. Also in non related news I highly recommend starting off your work day by whipping doughnuts in the office parking lot, always a good pick me up!!!!

OK so I had a very interesting weekend and am now finally getting a chance to post the video. I had to upload through youtube because google kept rejecting the video but I will keep trying and if I can get it to work I will switch them out. I know the spray footage is kinda of ugly but I hust wanted to play around and see what it was like to try and edit a route. Hopefully I will be there when Hayden sends and I can put together something a little cleaner. Going to go check out MT. Herman today, juiced, stay tuned fro pictures and maybe some video.

I should have a new video up by tonight featuring Hayden palying around on the granite of Elevenmile Canyon. Last week I started Physical Therapy and it's going great and I am already way ahead of the curve. It's still going to at least 2-3 months before I can climb again but it's all good as long as I get to climb eventually. I am jonesn bad though with the temps being perfect the last couple days. Thats all for now, video should be up no later then 9 p.m depending on load time.

THIS IS MAEGAN, SHE IS 11 OR SO, AND SHE CRUSHES!!!!

This is Maegan and she came out for a day of climbing but forgot her shoes, so she preceded to climb bare foot. I bet her $1 she couldn't match the the Mr. T hold on Daddy Fat Sacks, well as you can see in the 4th photo I lost a dollar! No worries though I got her to do it again for the camera for free. I am sad to report that she lost her dollar shortly after receiving it. For all you treasure hunters, I believe it's still somewhere between crack in the woods and the prow!

First off, I want to give a big shout out to everyone who wished me well, thanks yo on da realz!


The shoulder is feeling a little better every day but it's going to be a slow recovery. The injury was a little worse then originally anticipated( "your shoulder was jacked" Dr. Weinstein approx. 1hr after procedure) but they were able to get a good repair. No worries though, the game chase will be in full effect in no time. What follows is a self portrait taken about 3hrs after surgery. I also put a little video together that was filmed the day before my surgery. Hoenerson, Lee mothaf#&%in Hand and I all rolled up to Ute and all had a good day but my one handed project shut my down again, I was able to sick the dyno again and that felt pretty damn good. Halla!!!!!!

That would have been the title of my video update but I have decided not to include the footage that would warent such a discription. The temps have been soaring down here over the last few weeks making climbing even late in the day difficult, thus not really much climbing or should I say sending has taken place, but we all had a good time regardless which is what it's all about anyway.

I've been lagging on the posts the last few weeks, shit has gotten crazy at work and we are in the middle of a corporate takeover or at least that's how I am referring to it. There is a cleaner version of JJ's Ute video up on his blog, so if you haven't seen it, check it out. THE RETURN OF HOENERSON!!!!!!

Chris Hoener a.k.a Mr. Bonegangles has returned to the world of climbing and his psych is as high as it's ever been. We went up to the pass a couple times last week and I got him all juiced up about Skinned in the Woods and all I can say is now is that he really wants that rig! In other recent developments, it is rumored Lee"Motherf@#$in"Hand is returning to the Springs in early August. It's going to be sick to have the crew back together again fo sho. Above is Mr. Bonegangles himself warming up on Crack in the Woods and giving Skinned in the Woods his first efforts. Oh yeah and he'll slash your face with perhaps the sickest wooden sword I have ever seen!

JOES MAR-07

Scott and I went to Joes Valley in March of this year and it turned out to be a pretty good trip, except for me getting hurt on the dawn of our 2nd day. Towards the end of the trip Scott had mentioned an ice formation that I might be able to climb, I got psyched and grabbed up a hatchet and the one actual ice axe I had. It was desperate and I definitely got the Adrenalin glands pumping.

HELLS YA!!!!

Yesterday turned out to be a great day! I had my first appointment with the Doctor that's going to fix my shoulder and it went a lot better then originally anticipated. Apparently my rotator cuff is fine, however I have a torn ligament and a tendon that has slipped off the bone. I was informed that all it would take to get me climbing again was a simple hour long procedure that has a 94% success rate, hells ya, i'm in, fuckin juiced. I should be able to start climbing easy stuff 4 months after the operation and by 9 months should be back pretty close to were I left off befroe all this shit started. I was going to try and post a video of my MRI but I can't figure out how to extract it from the software, anyone got some ideas?

UTE IN PRIME CONDITIONS!!

I believe that all these fotos were taken after the first or second big snow storm this past winter and conditions were prime, that's right fuckin prime. No, no they weren't prime but compared to everything else in the state it wasn't to damn bad. In the first picture Jesse is expressing his feelings about Scott, or maybe the snow, or maybe The Gusher, or maybe all of the above. The next 3 fotos are of Scott and Jesse on the same. The last set is Scott giving The Green Lantern some burns.

So over the last week I have done a lot of walking all around Pikes Peak with the hope of finding sickie new blocks and blocks I have found. The most promising blocks lay just off the Barr Trail about 2-4 miles up. Waldo Canyon was a little chossy but I still have a few more spots to check out up there.

ANOTHER UTE PROJECT

THE GAY BOUDLER PROJECT

Here Hayden is trying a project on The Gay Boulder. Ben would have, and could have sent if it wasn't for two contributing factors-A. It was fuckin raining B. Dab tree of death. Once again this pic does not do this problem justice, once you get through the crux you have a nice little 15+ ft slab to conquer, which I think will no doubt make for a very sporting problem.
